Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and motivated Assistant Manager to join our dynamic restaurant team. Responsibilities Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including shift management, staff scheduling, and ensuring smooth service flow Lead and supervise team members, providing training, coaching, and performance feedback to promote high standards of customer service and food quality Oversee food preparation and food handling processes to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation Monitor inventory control, including stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability Enforce food safety protocols and hygiene standards in accordance with health regulations Support hiring processes by interviewing candidates and participating in staff training & development initiatives Manage customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction and repeat business Assist in budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and cost control measures to meet financial targets Coordinate with kitchen management on food production, catering events, banquet services, or special promotions as needed Qualifications Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management or hospitality management roles Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety management Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling experience required Demonstrated supervising experience with team leadership skills; ability to motivate staff effectively Excellent communication skills for managerial communication and customer service excellence Knowledge of inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and food management practices Previous experience in casual dining or fine dining environments is preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for order processing, cash handling, and financial calculations Hospitality industry knowledge including managing hospitality teams and ensuring high standards of food safety Join us as an Assistant Manager - Restaurant and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding dining experiences.
