It's the Taproom Manager's responsibility to maintain a safe and fun environment for customers. The Taproom Manager has to be TABC certified as well as have their Food Handlers license (Food manager license preferred) and ensure that staff is following local requirements and proper alcohol regulations. Assists in hiring and training taproom employees!
Responsibilities:
Maintains inventory. Assists in advertising the daily, weekly and monthly promotions of the taproom on slideshow and throughout brewery Performs opening and closing duties Ensures bar is well-stocked and clean. Appropriately delegates tasks to taproom staff. Assists in running special taproom events. Oversees front of house staff. Manages compliance with food and beverage hygiene policies and procedures. Informs Operations Manager of low stock items, or when maintenance is needed. Trains and, when necessary, disciplines staff. Uses point-of-sale tracking technology and bar and restaurant management platforms.
Skills and Qualifications:
Great communication Problem solving skills Leadership skills Organizational skills Previous experience as Head Bartender/Manager Great work ethic Able to adapt and work well under pressure. Great initiative skills. Physical ability to stand, bend and twist for extended periods of time.
