The primary responsibilities of the General Manager include directly supervising the restaurant employees, and managing operations in the front and back of the house with a high concentration on profitability, safety, sanitation, and sales growth, while constantly maintaining IHOP's standards of quality and service. Responsibilities also include developing managers and team members. Managers must be able to work a flexible schedule, which includes weekends, holidays, and late nights. The majority of our business is on weekends and holidays. The above is not an all-inclusive job description.
