Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations, maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring consistency, presentation, and adherence to recipes and health regulations. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through efficient food management practices. Train new staff members on food safety protocols, customer service standards, and operational procedures to foster a skilled team environment. Assist with shift management by coordinating schedules, delegating tasks, and ensuring timely service during peak hours. Support restaurant management in budgeting efforts, cost control measures, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for both staff and guests. Proven experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management within quick service or fast food restaurants. Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. Excellent leadership skills with experience in supervising teams, training staff, and conducting interviews. Familiarity with inventory control methods, food safety standards, and food handling regulations. Background in hospitality management with experience in casual dining or fine dining environments; banquet or catering experience is a plus. Ability to manage shift schedules effectively while maintaining high customer service standards.
