Full-Time Position Overview Brocheta Bistro is seeking an experienced and motivated Kitchen Manager / Cook to oversee daily kitchen operations while actively preparing high-quality dishes. This role is responsible for supervising kitchen staff, maintaining food quality and safety standards, and ensuring efficient kitchen performance during service. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong cooking experience who thrives in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth workflow Prepare and cook menu items according to restaurant recipes and standards Supervise, train, and support kitchen staff Ensure consistent food quality, portion control, and presentation Maintain compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations Monitor kitchen inventory and assist with ordering supplies Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service Assist with scheduling and kitchen staff management Requirements Valid Food Handlers Certification Valid Food Safety Manager Certification Minimum of 3 years of prior experience as a Kitchen Lead or Manager Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards Leadership and team management skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Schedule Full-Time position 8-hour shifts Weekends as needed Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 40-50 lbs.
