Job Description
The Kitchen Manager leads back-of-house operations with a focus on food quality, cleanliness, team development, and guest satisfaction. This role ensures execution of Crazy Good Mexican Food™ while maintaining high standards in food preparation, inventory, safety, and sanitation. Responsibilities include managing BOH scheduling, food and supply ordering, inventory control, and cost of goods management. The Kitchen Manager trains and coaches staff, ensures a clean and organized kitchen, and leads successful shifts using restaurant systems and tools. This role plays a key part in upholding compliance with health, safety, and food service regulations while helping meet restaurant profitability goals. All Kitchen Managers complete training at the Jalapeño Tree in Tyler, TX before transitioning to their assigned location.
