Position Summary The Assistant Front of House Manager plays a vital leadership role in creating exceptional guest experiences. This individual assists with overseeing the daily operation of the Front Desk while providing leadership, coaching, and operational support to Guest Service Agents and Night Auditors. The ideal candidate is a positive leader who thrives in hospitality, enjoys mentoring others, and is passionate about guest service.
Requirements:
Primary Responsibilities ? Assist with daily Front Desk operations ? Supervise Guest Service Agents and Night Auditors ? Lead by example in delivering exceptional hospitality ? Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and urgency ? Assist with scheduling and labor management ? Conduct coaching and training sessions ? Ensure proper cash handling procedures ? Maintain room inventory accuracy ? Coordinate closely with Housekeeping regarding room status ? Assist with VIP arrivals and special requests ? Support daily shift meetings ? Help maintain resort standards and policies ? Monitor guest satisfaction and online reviews ? Assist with hiring and onboarding new team members ? Participate in disciplinary coaching when necessary ? Support resort events and high-volume weekends Qualifications ? Minimum two years of hotel or hospitality leadership experience preferred ? Previous Front Desk experience required ? Strong customer service skills ? Excellent communication and organizational abilities ? Computer proficiency ? Ability to lead multiple priorities simultaneously ? Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays Preferred Experience ? Hotel PMS experience (Stayntouch, Opera, Choice Advantage, or similar) ? Toast POS familiarity ? Resort or full-service hotel experience ? Leadership and team development experience Skills ?
