In this vital role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, support staff development, and ensure that every guest receives top-tier service. Duties Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service quality, and customer satisfaction Supervise and manage restaurant staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating team members to ensure high performance and excellent customer service Ensure adherence to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures across all kitchen and dining areas Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability Oversee POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Toast for accurate order processing and cash handling Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff efficiently to meet business demands while maintaining a positive work environment Conduct staff training sessions on food production, customer service, safety protocols, and operational procedures Assist with budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and implementing cost-control measures to maximize restaurant profitability Support kitchen management activities including food production oversight and ensuring quality standards are met Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure a positive dining experience Lead by example in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and a welcoming atmosphere in the restaurant Qualifications Proven experience in quick service & fast food restaurant management or casual dining environments with supervisory responsibilities Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety management practices Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing Demonstrated ability in inventory control, cash handling, and managing food costs effectively Previous experience with fine dining or banquet settings is a plus but not required; hospitality management experience is highly valued Excellent team management skills with a focus on staff training & development and supervising teams effectively Strong communication skills suitable for managerial roles including interviewing potential staff and conducting team meetings Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills for order accuracy, cash reconciliation, and financial analysis Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures within the food industry or culinary environment Leadership qualities with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving and operational excellence Embark on a rewarding journey where your leadership transforms everyday operations into extraordinary guest experiences. Pay:
$13.00 - $16.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
