Job Description
A growing property management firm is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to assist the Community Manager in the daily operation of our new property in San Marcos - Tapestry at Aquarena Springs. The assistant manager should be an organized, outgoing and friendly professional who supports the community manager in all aspects of property management. The focus of this position is to ensure the effective operation of the apartment community. This role is responsible for keeping accurate property records, leasing available units, tenant retention and assumes a leadership role in the absence of the Community Manager. Responsibilities Operations & Financial Understand financial goals and operate the asset in the owners' best interest in accordance with the Policies & Procedures Manual. Prepare annual budgets and income projections. Ensure all rents and late fees/check charges are collected, posted, and deposited. Maintain accurate records of all community transactions (rent rolls, delinquency reports, move-in/move-outs, etc.). Ensure invoices are submitted to the corporate office for payment; handle petty cash and all funds. Generate necessary legal action, documents, and process in accordance with state and company guidelines. LIHTC Compliance Ensure the property remains in full compliance with
