Responsibilities Assist in managing all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service flow, and staff supervision. Oversee food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations and sanitation standards. Supervise and train team members on food handling, POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, and customer service best practices. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste. Handle cash transactions accurately and perform cash handling duties during shifts. Support shift management by coordinating staff schedules, supervising daily activities, and ensuring smooth service delivery. Conduct staff training sessions on food production, culinary techniques, and hospitality management to foster a high-performance team. Analyze profit and loss reports to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost savings. Lead team meetings to communicate goals, provide feedback, and promote a positive work environment. Assist with interviewing, onboarding new employees, and developing ongoing training programs to enhance team skills. Qualifications Proven experience in quick service & fast food restaurant environments or casual dining settings with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management. Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience within the food industry is required. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; proficiency in cash handling and basic math is essential. Knowledge of food safety management practices and food handling procedures. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and communicate managerial expectations clearly. Experience with inventory control, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis to optimize restaurant performance. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence. Ability to manage shift operations efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Culinary experience or kitchen management background preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
