The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the food industry, ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. As a Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining food quality, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Duties Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate daily food preparation activities. Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked. Implement food handling procedures to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety. Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment. Oversee menu planning and catering services to meet customer needs. Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new kitchen personnel. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency with restaurant standards. Experience Candidates should have prior experience in kitchen management or a similar role within the food industry.
Key qualifications include:
Proven leadership skills with experience in team management. Strong background in food management practices and food handling regulations. Previous experience as an assistant manager or supervisory role is preferred. Familiarity with catering operations is a plus. Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate a team.
