Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases, product inquiries, and menu navigation. Operate the cash register (POS system), handle cash register operations, and process retail sales transactions accurately. Perform cashier duties including cash handling, balancing the cash drawer, and issuing receipts. Upsell products and promote store specials through engaging product demos and personalized recommendations. Stock drinks, organize the cooler and clean the dining area , and ensure the dining area floor, tables and toilet is clean, attractive, and well-maintained. Assist with cooler inventory management by stocking new drinks Maintain professional phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries or taking orders over the phone. Requirements Prior experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers. Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and basic retail math for transactions and balancing cash drawers. Demonstrated customer service skills with a positive attitude and a proactive approach to assisting shoppers. Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately during sales transactions. Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in growth opportunities within the team. Knowledge of merchandising techniques and retail store product knowledge is beneficial.
