Job Overview Double J Ranch Golf Club is seeking an energetic, organized, and hospitality-driven Food Truck Manager to oversee daily operations of our on-site food truck and beverage service operation. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing people, and takes pride in delivering an exceptional guest experience at one of the Hill Country's premier golf destinations. The Food Truck Manager will be responsible for food and beverage operations, staff supervision, inventory management, cleanliness, customer service, and maintaining efficient daily workflows during golf course operations and special events. Duties Lead daily food truck operations, coordinating food preparation, cooking, and serving to ensure quick and efficient service. Supervise and train staff on food handling, customer service, POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, and safety protocols to foster a high-performing team. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to maximize profitability. Oversee cash handling procedures, balancing registers, and ensuring accurate financial transactions during each shift. Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and sanitation practices in compliance with health regulations. Implement staff scheduling, shift management, and performance evaluations to optimize team productivity. Coordinate with catering or event teams for special occasions like banquets or private events when applicable. Monitor customer feedback and resolve issues promptly to ensure an outstanding guest experience. Skills Experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management within quick service or fast food restaurant settings. Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing and sales tracking. Strong background in inventory control, food safety practices, and budget management within the food industry. Proven leadership skills with experience in staff training, supervising teams, interviewing candidates, and developing talent. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally. Knowledge of restaurant management principles including shift management, food production, and hospitality standards. Experience in catering, banquet operations or hotel food service is a plus; culinary or fine dining background highly desirable. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining high energy levels and positive attitude.
