Previous shift or assistant manager experience is required. This is an hourly management position. This position is for the closing shift (typically 4:00pm-11:00/11:30pm). We're a fun, fast-paced buffet-style restaurant serving fresh pizza, pasta, and salad — all made with love. We're looking for energetic, friendly, and dependable team members to join our café family. Position Summary As a Restaurant Shift Manager , you'll help create an excellent guest experience by preparing food, maintaining cleanliness, and delivering friendly service. Whether you're making pizzas, working the buffet line, or helping customers at the register, your positive attitude and teamwork make our café a great place to eat and work. In addition to the regular Restaurant Staff duties, you will be responsible for helping to coach team members, ensure food safety compliance, and enforcing the vision and direction of the Restaurant General Manager. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service Prepare pizzas, pastas, and salads according to company recipes and standards Keep the buffet clean, stocked, and visually appealing Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, kitchen, and restrooms Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines Support team members and managers as needed during busy shifts Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment Handle cash close-out Complete temperature logs Enforce company standards Walk the Manager critical path and fix issues as or before they happen Coach team members, act as a mentor and answer their questions Qualifications Friendly, outgoing personality and strong communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Willingness to learn and take direction Previous restaurant or food service experience is a plus (but not required) Must be at least 18 years old
