Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join our team. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our establishment, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and cleanliness. If you have a passion for the hospitality industry and possess strong leadership skills, we want to hear from you.
Duties:
  • Manage and supervise a team of employees during assigned shifts
  • Ensure smooth operations and adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Train new employees on job responsibilities, safety protocols, and customer service standards
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, including kitchen areas
  • Oversee food production to ensure quality and consistency
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve any issues in a timely manner
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations for staff members
  • Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving overall efficiency and profitability
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in the coffee/restaurant/hospitality industry is preferred
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of kitchen management, inventory control, and food safety regulations
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in customer service techniques
