F&B Operations Manager Hotel Burg | Eat Drink Management Leesburg, Virginia Hotel Burg is a boutique, luxury hotel (With a Michelin Key) in the heart of downtown Leesburg, home to a collection of distinct food and beverage experiences including The Huntōn, The Diana Lounge, The Chase private club, the Speakeasy, Rooftop, and private events. We are looking for an exceptional F&B Operations Manager to help lead the daily execution of this multi-outlet operation. This is more than a manager-on-duty position. We are looking for a strong operator who can turn high hospitality standards into consistent daily performance. Someone who is visible on the floor, develops managers, solves problems quickly, understands labor and financial performance, and knows how to create exceptional guest experiences. What You'll Do The F&B Operations Manager works closely with the Hotel Burg F&B General Manager and Eat Drink Management leadership to oversee day-to-day operations across our restaurants, bars, club spaces, and events.
Responsibilities include:
Lead daily FOH operations across multiple food and beverage outlets Serve as a senior Manager on Duty during key service periods Coach managers and team members in real time during service Ensure consistent execution of hospitality and service standards Review staffing levels, schedules, labor deployment, and overtime Conduct opening, closing, and operational walkthroughs Maintain high standards for cleanliness, organization, and restaurant appearance Help manage guest and member recovery Identify recurring operational problems and drive solutions Support hiring, onboarding, training, and leadership development Hold managers accountable for preparation, execution, and follow-through Review sales, labor, prime cost, controllable expenses, and operating performance Help translate financial goals into daily operational decisions Coordinate with culinary leadership, hotel departments, events, and ownership Help create an environment where guests, members, and employees genuinely want to return Who We're Looking For You may be a strong AGM, restaurant General Manager, hotel F&B manager, or multi-unit restaurant leader ready for a larger challenge.
The ideal candidate:
Has 4+ years of progressive restaurant or hotel F&B management experience Has experience leading high-volume, upscale, luxury, or multi-outlet operations Is highly visible on the floor and leads from the front Understands elevated hospitality without making service feel scripted Can coach and hold people accountable while maintaining trust Understands restaurant labor, scheduling, and basic financial statements Is organized and follows through Is comfortable making decisions and solving problems independently Has strong written and verbal communication skills Is available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as the business requires Wants to grow into a senior hospitality leadership position Experience in luxury hotels, private clubs, fine dining, upscale restaurants, wine, or beverage programs is highly valued. Compensation Salary:
$70,000-$85,000 per year , based on experience. Additional performance-based bonus opportunity available. Benefits and additional compensation will be discussed during the interview process.
