Responsibilities Lead daily kitchen operations, including supervising kitchen staff, managing shift schedules, and ensuring smooth workflow during brunch service. Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet high standards of quality and consistency. Implement and maintain food safety sanitizing procedures in compliance with health regulations to ensure a safe dining environment. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste through effective cost control strategies. Coordinate menu planning and recipe development to keep offerings fresh, appealing, and aligned with customer preferences. Supervise dietary department activities when applicable, ensuring special dietary needs are met with care and accuracy. Oversee catering events and banquet services as needed, ensuring seamless execution from setup to service. Lead team management efforts by providing training, mentorship, and performance feedback to foster a motivated and skilled culinary team. Maintain accurate records of food production costs, inventory levels, and sanitation compliance for operational efficiency. Skills Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining and brunch service. Proven supervisory experience managing kitchen teams in high-volume settings. Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and adherence to health regulations. Skilled in inventory management, cost control, and food handling best practices. Experience with menu planning, catering operations, and food service management. Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to motivate staff effectively. Familiarity with banquet operations, dietary requirements, and hospitality standards. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Competence in kitchen management software or inventory control systems is a plus.
