Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Manager to join our fast-paced food service team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring smooth restaurant operations, delivering exceptional customer service, and leading a motivated team. Responsibilities Oversee daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and food safety management, ensuring high standards are maintained at all times Lead and supervise staff training, team management, and shift management to foster a positive work environment Manage inventory control, monitor stock levels, and coordinate ordering to minimize waste and optimize food costs Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate cash handling and transaction processing Ensure compliance with food handling regulations, health codes, and safety procedures across all restaurant areas Assist in interviewing and onboarding new team members, supporting their training & development to enhance performance Analyze profit and loss reports to identify opportunities for operational improvements and increased profitability Skills Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service management within casual dining or quick-service restaurants Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; strong cash handling skills Proven supervising experience with team leadership, staff training, and managing hospitality teams Strong understanding of inventory control, food safety standards, and food industry best practices Excellent communication skills for managerial conversations, customer service excellence, and staff development Ability to manage shift operations efficiently while maintaining high-quality service standards Basic math skills for budgeting, profit analysis, and order calculations Join us as an Assistant Manager where your leadership will inspire teams to deliver memorable dining experiences!
