Food Handler Certification Full Job Description Summary:
Oversees Beverage service staff, equipment and inventory. Sets and example for staff by being visible, punctual and a team worker. Maintains professional and business profile while acting as a Silver Reef Casino representative. Is highly visible and interacts with guests as necessary to maintain the high quality standards of the Silver Reef Casino.
Qualifications:
At least 2 years prior Management experience. Assures Staff Attentiveness. Should be capable of training new employees in all bar procedures. Capable of giving direction. Working knowledge of the front of the house equipment, i.e., point of sale system and peripherals. Knowledge of draft systems. Must read, write, speak and understand English. Must have excellent people skills. Must be 21 years old License Requirement(s):
Class III Gaming License, WSLCB MAST Permit, Food Handler's Permit Essential Job Functions:
Provides input to casino management regarding overall policy and procedure related to the supervision of beverage personnel and operations. Responsible for training, supervising, and evaluating all bar personnel. And ensuring all employee's permits up to date. Responsible for employee scheduling, and daily work assignments. Responsible for meeting the budgeted cost of sales for the operation as determined by the department's budget. Under the general direction of the Food and Beverage Director ensures quality of products purchased, produced, and served to customers. Enforces regulations regarding Alcohol awareness and safety issues for both employees and customers. Promotes excellent customer and employee relations. Implements and maintains all inventory control systems. Producing monthly inventory and beverage cost. Monitor & maintain Glassware and alcohol inventories. Responsible for assisting in the successful operation of beverage facilities, including providing high-quality products and efficient and friendly service in a clean, attractive atmosphere. This position directly supports the Food and Beverage Director. Performs other duties as assigned.
Physical/Mental Requirements:
Constantly standing, seeing, hearing, talking, and walking. Frequently smelling, tasting, bending, stooping, wrist motion. Occasionally lifting and/or carrying up to a maximum of 50 lbs. for distances up to 400 ft. Occasionally pushing and/or pulling up to a maximum of 120 lbs. for distances up to 400 ft.
Working Conditions:
Subject to food odors. Ability to work in a smoke filled environment.
Qualifications:
At least 2 years prior Management experience. Assures Staff Attentiveness, guest service standards and all financial aspects of this role Should be capable of training new employees in all food and beverage, guest service and bar procedures. Capable of giving direction and holding the teams accountable. Working knowledge of the front of the house equipment, i.e., point of sale system and peripherals. Extensive knowledge of all bar procedures, drink menu creation, drink recipes, draft systems, and overall cleaning procedures. Must read, write, speak and understand English. Must have excellent people skills. Must be 21 years old License Requirement(s): Class III Gaming License, WSLCB MAST Permit, Food Handler's Permit
