Job Description

We're looking for a warm, dependable, and proactive Nanny/House Manager to become an important part of our family's weekly routine. This role combines childcare, homeschool support, and light household management to help our home run smoothly while providing our 5th-grade daughter with consistent guidance and encouragement. Our family values kindness, curiosity, responsibility, and creating a calm, welcoming home. We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children, takes initiative, and finds satisfaction in creating an organized, peaceful environment. Primary Responsibilities Childcare & Homeschool Support Your primary responsibility will be caring for and supporting our fifth-grade daughter during her homeschool day. This is not a teaching or lesson-planning position—her curriculum is already selected and easy to follow.
Responsibilities include:
Guiding her through daily homeschool lessons and assignments Providing encouragement, patience, and one-on-one support Helping her stay focused, engaged, and motivated Answering simple questions and helping her work through challenges Creating a calm, positive learning environment Keeping homeschool materials organized Planning occasional art projects, science activities, or enrichment opportunities (optional) House Management When our daughter is working independently or after lessons are complete, you'll help maintain the day-to-day flow of our home by: Resetting the kitchen after meals Loading and unloading the dishwasher Folding, putting away and ironing/steaming laundry Tidying common living spaces Organizing household and homeschool supplies Planning and preparing simple family meals Keeping a grocery and household supply list Running occasional errands as needed While we have regular cleaning support; we're looking for someone who enjoys helping keep a busy family organized and running smoothly.
We're Looking For Someone Who Is:
Warm, patient, and engaging with children Organized, dependable, and proactive Comfortable balancing childcare with household responsibilities A strong communicator who notices what needs to be done without being asked Experienced as a nanny, family assistant, tutor, homeschool guide, teacher, or in a similar childcare role CPR/First Aid certified (preferred) Schedule Mondays and Wednesdays, plus every third Tuesday Approximately 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. September through June Competitive hourly pay based on experience If you're looking for a long-term position where you can build a meaningful relationship with a family, support a child's growth, and help create a well-run home, we'd love to hear from you.
