The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, culinary knowledge, and exceptional customer service abilities. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee restaurant functions, manage staff, and ensure the delivery of high-quality food and hospitality experiences across casual dining, fine dining, catering, and bar services. A background in food preparation, restaurant management, and team leadership is essential for success in this position. Responsibilities Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including food service management, kitchen management, and hospitality functions Supervise staff training, development, and scheduling to ensure efficient shift management and excellent customer service Manage inventory control, food safety protocols, and food handling procedures to maintain compliance with health standards Oversee food production processes including cooking, catering, banquet service, and bar operations Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for cash handling, order processing, and sales reporting Monitor quality standards in food preparation and presentation across all service areas Lead staff recruitment efforts including interviewing candidates and onboarding new team members Assist with budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation to optimize operational efficiency Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with safety regulations Requirements Proven management experience within the food industry or hospitality sector; assistant manager experience preferred Extensive knowledge of food safety standards, food handling practices, and kitchen management Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS Strong leadership skills with experience supervising teams in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining settings Background in culinary arts or food preparation; fine dining or catering experience is a plus Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest interactions professionally Ability to manage inventory control, budgeting, and staff training & development effectively Experience with shift management, restaurant operations, and hospitality management principles Strong communication skills with the ability to interview candidates and lead staff meetings Knowledge of food production processes including cooking techniques and food presentation standards Hospitality management background with experience overseeing bar services or hotel-related food operations is advantageous This position offers an engaging environment for professionals passionate about culinary excellence and exceptional guest experiences.
