POSITION SUMMARY
The Assistant Concessions Manager supports operations during events when multiple concession locations are active. They assist with set-up, supervision, inventory tracking, and volunteer coordination at the secondary site.
PRIMARY RESPONSABILITIES
Provide on-site leadership and supervision at secondary concession locations. Assist with set-up, stocking, and closing tasks. Ensure volunteers follow established safety, hygiene, and cash handling procedures. Communicate with Concessions Manager to report any issues or supply needs. Step in to resolve minor problems or escalate to manager as needed. Help with training of new volunteers if applicable. Support the shared goal of consistent, high-quality service across all events.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
Concessions Manager, Assistant Principal, Activities Director
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Strong organizational and communication skills. Experience in food service, operations, or volunteer coordination preferred. Ability to lead and train student workers and adult volunteers. Maintain Washington State Food Worker Card and train student managers on procedures related to food safety (training will be provided). Must be available evenings and occasional weekends during the designated season(s). CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).

This is a stipend position, paid per season (Fall, Winter, Spring) and aligned with the district's extra-duty schedule. The role may be held by one individual year-round or assigned separately by season.
