Our successful hotel is seeking a dedicated banquet manager who is eager to provide our guests with an unforgettable event experience. You'll work directly with guests to book banquet space and provide options that meet their needs and budgets. We require someone with exceptional leadership abilities to manage banquet staff and ensure that our hotel services are of the highest quality. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with 3+ years of hospitality experience, preferably in a management role, and an unwavering commitment to client satisfaction. Responsibilities:
Record the outcomes of each event to evaluate and improve future events and procedures Communicate with customers to go through banquet event choices that fit their budget and go over any modifications, questions, or concerns to guarantee a great product is delivered Strengthen a customer-focused banquet event department continuously by developing policies, procedures, quality standards, and cost-cutting measures Supervise the daily operations of the banquet are, including ordering supplies, overseeing event space set-up, and selecting staffing levels to provide an exceptional level of service Relay all event orders to on-site banquet staff members so they are made aware of their duties and responsibilities Support the team's professional development by ensuring an effective training program and focusing on investing in staff's future development and success.
Qualifications:
3+ years managing a team in a hospitality role or equivalent culinary role Proficient in computer skills, especially MS Office (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint) This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service High school diploma or equivalent, associate degree in hospitality management preferred Display excellent communication skills with clients and coworkers About Company ECWI Hospitality locations are managed by GF Hotels and Resorts.
