Job Description

Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee daily kitchen operations. This dynamic role requires a passionate leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, ensuring exceptional food quality, safety standards, and customer satisfaction. As a Kitchen Manager, you will be instrumental in maintaining efficient kitchen workflows, managing staff, and upholding the highest standards of food handling and service. Duties Supervise and coordinate all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs. Oversee food safety protocols in compliance with health regulations, including proper food handling, sanitation practices, and temperature controls. Lead staff training and development initiatives to enhance culinary skills, customer service, and operational efficiency. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation. Oversee shift management by scheduling staff, assigning duties, and ensuring smooth restaurant operations during busy hours. Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing guest concerns promptly and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Qualifications Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within quick service or fast food restaurants. Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cash handling is essential. Demonstrated supervisory experience with a focus on staff training, team management, and performance evaluation. Background in food safety regulations and best practices for food handling in both casual dining and fine dining settings. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory control, budgeting, and food production efficiently. Hospitality management or restaurant management experience preferred; hotel or catering background is a plus.
