Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee daily kitchen operations. In this pivotal role, you will ensure exceptional food quality, maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness, and foster a positive, team-oriented environment. Your leadership will drive efficiency, uphold food safety protocols, and deliver outstanding customer experiences in a fast-paced hospitality setting. Responsibilities Supervise all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality. Oversee food safety practices in compliance with health regulations, including proper food handling, sanitation, and storage procedures. Lead staff training initiatives to develop culinary skills, improve service standards, and promote teamwork among kitchen personnel. Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff, assigning tasks, and ensuring smooth operations during busy periods. Utilize Toast POS system for sales and labor metrics. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching to foster a motivated and efficient team environment. Requirements Proven experience in full service or supper club restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation and cooking. Demonstrated management experience in restaurant or hospitality settings with skills in supervising teams and managing operations. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and health regulations applicable to the food industry. Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle inventory control, prep sheets and sales analysis. Excellent communication skills for staff training, team leadership, interviewing candidates, and managerial coordination. Previous experience in full service dining is a plus; catering or banquet experience is advantageous. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of customer service and food quality.
