Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Kitchen Manager/Chef to oversee our breakfast and lunch kitchen. This is a working management position requiring someone who is comfortable cooking on the line while also leading the kitchen team, ordering food, training staff, developing daily specials, and maintaining consistent food quality. Responsibilities Lead daily kitchen operations during breakfast and lunch service. Cook on the line during busy service periods and ensure meals are prepared accurately and efficiently. Hire, train, coach, and schedule kitchen staff. Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment while maintaining high performance expectations. Create and develop new daily and seasonal specials. Place weekly food and supply orders while managing inventory and minimizing waste. Monitor food costs and portion control. Ensure all recipes and menu items are prepared consistently. Maintain health department standards, food safety procedures, and kitchen sanitation. Oversee equipment maintenance and communicate repair needs. Work closely with ownership to improve menu offerings, kitchen efficiency, and overall guest satisfaction. Qualifications Previous kitchen management or leadership experience required. Strong breakfast cooking experience and ability to work every station on the line. Experience hiring, training, and developing employees. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and leadership abilities. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations. Pay:
$55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
