Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee daily kitchen operations. In this pivotal role, you will ensure exceptional food quality, maintain efficient workflow, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness. Your leadership will drive team performance, optimize inventory management, and deliver outstanding customer experiences in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Responsibilities Supervise all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure consistency and quality. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to maximize profitability. Oversee food safety practices, including proper handling, storage, sanitation procedures, and compliance with health regulations. Lead staff training and development initiatives to enhance culinary skills, customer service, and operational efficiency. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation. Coordinate shift schedules, manage labor costs, and ensure smooth daily operations in a high-volume environment. Foster a positive team environment by supervising staff performance, conducting interviews, and providing ongoing feedback and coaching. Requirements Proven experience managing kitchens in quick service or fast food restaurant settings; casual dining or fine dining experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food industry standards. Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; proficient in basic math for cash handling and inventory calculations. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising teams, training staff, and managing hospitality teams effectively. Excellent communication skills suitable for managerial roles; capable of managing conflict resolution and team motivation. Knowledge of food safety management practices and regulatory compliance requirements. Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
