We are looking for a happy, positive, welcoming hospitality professional who genuinely enjoys people. Someone who can lead a busy dining room while remaining friendly, composed, organized and attentive to both our guests and our staff. This is a true front of house leadership position working directly with our servers, bartenders, hosts, bussers and guests. What You'll Be Responsible For You'll help lead the front of house operation by: Managing the dining room during service Leading, coaching and supporting servers, bartenders, hosts and bussers Greeting and interacting with guests Monitoring service, table flow and the overall guest experience Managing reservations and seating Handling guest concerns with professionalism and good judgment Conducting pre-shift meetings Maintaining Carson's service and hospitality standards Helping train and develop FOH employees Monitoring employee appearance, preparedness and professionalism Coordinating with kitchen management throughout service Supervising opening and closing procedures Completing server and bartender checkouts Handling cash counting and end-of-night reconciliation Helping oversee carryout and third-party delivery orders Maintaining an organized, polished dining room and bar Experience We'd Love to See Previous full service restaurant front of house management experience is strongly preferred. Experience with any of the following is also valuable: OpenTable Toast POS Uber Eats DoorDash Wine & Beverage Service Cash Handling Employee Checkouts High Volume Dinner Service You don't need to have worked with every system. We will train. We are much more interested in finding an experienced hospitality professional with leadership ability, good judgment, a positive attitude and a genuine desire to take care of guests. This Position Is Specifically Front of House We want to be clear about the experience we're seeking. This position primarily manages the guest facing side of the restaurant servers, bartenders, hosts, bussers, reservations, dining room service and the entire guest experience. Candidates with primarily chef, culinary or kitchen management backgrounds should understand that this is not a back of house management position.
