Compensation:
$55,000- $65,000 Wage will vary based on a candidate's qualifications, competencies, experience, geographic location.

- 401(k) retirement Overview As a MOD Pizza General Manager, you contribute to the success of the MOD community by leading your restaurant and a team of squad to deliver the MOD commitment to your guests.
- Provide leadership to the entire squad with additional focus on developing leadership capabilities in the restaurant. This is a leader of leaders role. Leading through other leaders is key to success in the GM role, by ensuring your delegations are executed, while keeping full accountability of all performance in the restaurant.
- Identify opportunities to improve and/or maintain restaurant performance and/or results, by regularly reviewing restaurant results and develop action plans to achieve success, using MOD tools (P&L, scorecard, etc.).
- Own restaurant staffing. Be proactive in building talent pipelines and seek support ahead of a crisis. Continuously work toward being a kind and compliant interviewer, utilizing the tools and trainings provided. Every candidate is a guest too, and we want to uplift the dignity of every applicant.
- Follow policies and timelines regarding all required employee processing and compliance documentation throughout employee lifecycle.
- Utilize MOD training plans to help move newly hired squad along on their learning journey, so they see the impact of their contributions quickly. Recognize that training is not static, by continuously assessing every learner and providing the right level of support and direction to execute MOD standards.
- Be a proactive community engagement ambassador, championing how MOD and the community lift each other up. Positively impact the restaurants' financial performance through the execution of fundraising, catering, and other community initiatives.
- Utilize forecasts and the labor model to thoughtfully plan and distribute staffing and schedules in a timely manner. Accommodate schedule requests and flexibility, when possible, but not at the expense of appropriate staffing levels to deliver on the unique MOD experience.
- Maintain MOD's Loss Prevention and Asset Protection procedures regarding cash handling, food safety, and restaurant safety & security.
- A key responsibility of a GM is to manage squad performance in the restaurant. This includes timely performance feedback and holding everyone accountable for following established standards and procedures while building a growth mindset culture.
- Own, delegate and manage ordering and inventory functions to ensure restaurant performance meets targets
- Read and comprehend all internal communications impacting restaurant operations. Communicate the information and take the necessary actions in an expected time frame. This may include attending meetings, huddles, and training events to stay current on upcoming initiatives.
- Build a strong working relationship with vendors and internal facilities team to ensure restaurant stays in optimum condition to deliver consistent high-quality experience to guests and squad. Demonstrating our values in the following ways:

- 2+ years of experience leading the leaders in restaurant management.
- Experience executing training, performance and staffing programs in a restaurant or similar environment.
- Possess a strong business acumen, ability to read and develop action plans from financials reports.
- Prior experience working with internal support teams in the areas of Human Resources, Supply Chain, Marketing and other functions.
- Strong ability to leverage prior experience and knowledge to act decisively even without complete information or direction. Using sound logic to make the most calculated decision.
- Must obtain a food safety certification and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days of your start date or sooner where required by law.
- Must be proficient in written and oral communication.
- Must be able to support restaurant hours, including peak demand hours (Nights and Weekends).
- Must be 21 years of age or older. Preferred Qualifications
- Management experience in a fast casual restaurant environment Physical Requirements As a member of our squad, you must have the ability to work in an open kitchen environment, rotating between front and back of house.
