Join a Premier Member-Owned Yacht Club Pewaukee Yacht Club is seeking an experienced, energetic, and service-oriented General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our vibrant member-owned yacht club on beautiful Pewaukee Lake. This is an exciting leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, managing operations, building strong teams, and delivering exceptional member experiences. The General Manager works closely with the House Director, Board of Directors, volunteers, and staff to ensure the Club operates efficiently while preserving the traditions and welcoming atmosphere that define Pewaukee Yacht Club. What You'll Do Lead the day-to-day operation of the clubhouse, grounds, docks, and fuel dock. Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and develop Club staff. Oversee the Bar Manager and Club Operations Attendents. Coordinate private events, facility rentals, and member activities. Manage vendors, contractors, and facility maintenance. Support Club races, regattas, social events, and seasonal operations. Assist with budgeting, purchasing, payroll coordination, and operational reporting. Maintain safe, clean, and welcoming facilities. Foster outstanding member service and positive relationships with members, volunteers, and community partners. Ensure compliance with Club policies and applicable regulations. Qualifications Three (3) or more years of supervisory or management experience. Experience leading teams in hospitality, recreation, marina, country club, nonprofit, or similar service oriented environments. Strong leadership, communications, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment. Valid Wisconsin Driver's License. Ability to obtain a Wisconsin Operator's License (Bartender License). Ability to obtain a Wisconsin Underground Storage Tank (UST) Class A/B/C Operator Certification. Preferred Experience managing a yacht club, marina, country club, golf club, restaurant, hospitality venue, or similar member-based organization. Experience coordinating private events and seasonal operations. Experience supervising seasonal employees. Experience working with volunteer boards or nonprofit organizations. Experience with ClubSpot or similar management software. Schedule This a seasonal, exempt position. Evening, weekend, holiday, and event hours are required throughout the sailing season. The General Manager must also be available to respond to operational emergencies as needed during the season. Why Join Pewaukee Yacht Club? Pay:
$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
