Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee daily kitchen operations. This role is vital in ensuring exceptional food quality, safety standards, and efficient service delivery. As a Kitchen Manager, you will inspire your team to deliver outstanding dining experiences while maintaining a positive and productive work environment. Your leadership will drive operational excellence, uphold food safety protocols, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. We can assist in providing housing to the desired candidate. Duties Supervise all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high-quality standards are met consistently. Oversee food safety practices in compliance with health regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures Train and develop kitchen staff on culinary techniques, safety protocols, POS systems, we use Toast, and customer service excellence Coordinate shift management, ensuring smooth operations during busy periods while maintaining efficiency and quality Conduct staff interviews, performance evaluations, and manage team schedules to foster a motivated and well-trained workforce. Cook on the line with staff, ensuring timely and food standards are met. Experience Proven management experience in quick service or fast food restaurants, with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen operations Demonstrated ability to supervise teams effectively within hospitality or restaurant environments Experience in inventory control, food safety management, and profit & loss analysis to support operational success Familiarity with casual dining environments and catering experience is a plus. Also, the ability to juggle in person and delivery orders.
