Role:
As a Dietary Manager (CDM), you will be responsible for managing the dietary department, including menu planning, food preparation, and food service delivery. You will oversee a team of dietary staff, supervise food production, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards andCompany policies. You will also collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement nutrition plans that meet the unique needs of our residents.
Responsibilities:
Manage the dietary department, including menu planning, food preparation, and food service delivery Supervise and train dietary staff to ensure high-quality service delivery Develop and implement nutrition plans that meet the unique needs of our residents Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure compliance with regulatory standards andCompany policies Manage inventory, ordering, and receiving of food and supplies Ensure accurate record-keeping, financial management, and budgeting for the dietary department Participate in Quality Improvement initiatives and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities
Requirements:
Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) credential or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience in food service management or a related field Knowledge of dietetics and nutrition principles Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Why Join Our Team?
