Located in the heart of Fayetteville, Arkansas , Stonebreaker Hotel offers guests a distinctive blend of modern comfort, elevated dining, and authentic Ozark hospitality. We are looking for a hospitality leader who will continue this tradition of excellence while inspiring a culture of service, teamwork, and innovation. Position Summary The Director of Food & Beverage is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and profitability of all food and beverage operations throughout the hotel. This includes overseeing restaurant and bar operations, banquet and catering services, in-room dining (if applicable), and all other food and beverage outlets. This leader will develop operating budgets, monitor financial performance, collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu development and pricing, maintain quality and service standards, and ensure an exceptional guest experience across every outlet. The Director of Food & Beverage will also work closely with hotel leadership to support special events, group business, weddings, and community functions. Essential Responsibilities Lead all Food & Beverage operations while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and guest satisfaction. Recruit, train, coach, and develop managers and team members to build a high-performing service culture. Develop and manage departmental budgets, forecasts, labor costs, and inventory controls. Partner with the Executive Chef to create innovative menus that align with seasonal offerings and guest preferences. Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, health, and alcohol service regulations. Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to improve revenue, profitability, and operational efficiency. Maintain exceptional service standards throughout restaurant, lounge, banquet, and catering operations. Collaborate with Sales, Catering, and Hotel Operations to execute weddings, meetings, and special events seamlessly. Analyze guest feedback and implement continuous improvements to enhance the overall dining experience. Foster a positive, collaborative work environment focused on accountability, teamwork, and professional development. Qualifications Minimum of five (5) years of progressive Food & Beverage leadership experience, preferably in a full-service hotel, resort, boutique hotel, or upscale restaurant environment. Proven ability to lead multiple outlets while managing financial performance and operational excellence. Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and cost controls. Knowledge of food safety regulations, beverage operations, and hospitality best practices. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands require.
