Adherence to established policies, standards, and procedures is always required to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction, quality service, compliance with corporate policies and procedures, and local regulations while meeting/exceeding financial goals. They will develop and inspire a team that passionately promotes the Turquoise brand and ensures every guest enjoys an exceptional visit. Establish and uphold rigorous performance standards across all areas, including achieving sales and budget goals, managing exclusive wine events, maintaining wine inventories, creating weekly wine order recommendations, and fostering a team culture dedicated to outstanding guest interactions. Job Duties Leadership of team during shifts while ensuring that each customer receives outstanding customer service by providing a customer-friendly environment which includes engaging educational and memorable experiences for all guests. Perform daily inspection of BOH and FOH of restaurant for readiness according to standards. Responsible for all opening/closing procedures of shift, including cash management, operations, inventory management, and menu engineering to accommodate any out-of-stock product. Responsible for properly receiving, inventorying, labeling and merchandising all wine deliveries. Maintains wine inventory, placement, needed menu updates, and communicates wine upsell opportunities to staff. Tracks weekly receiving documents, adjusts inventory with new receipts and notifies store manager of discrepancies. Creates weekly wine order recommendations with consideration for current sales, events, promotions, wine club and special orders. Responsible for service training for all new employees and ongoing wine and beer education and certifications on service standards. Identify event opportunities and assist in selection of calendar of events including wine tastings, traffic driver events, live music and other approved ideas for monthly events. Consistently model a positive attitude with all customers, employees and managers. Exceed sales goals through selling of wine, spirits, food, and wine club memberships to customers. Qualifications Previous restaurant, hospitality, wine bar, or management experience preferred. Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred. Strong wine knowledge and a passion for continued wine education. Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to train, coach, and motivate team members. Strong organizational and inventory management skills. Comfortable working toward sales and financial goals. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Professional, dependable, organized, and detail-oriented. Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed. Must meet all applicable requirements for serving alcoholic beverages. Must have Title 4 Liquor Basic and Manager certifications + Food Handler and Manager certifications About the Role The Wine Experience Manager is a hands-on leadership position that combines restaurant management, wine knowledge, sales, team development, and hospitality.
