Plan menus in collaboration with culinary staff, incorporating dietary requirements and catering specifications for both fine dining and banquet events. Manage shift schedules, monitor labor costs, and implement cost control measures to maximize operational efficiency. Coordinate with the catering and banquet teams to deliver seamless event execution while maintaining high-quality service standards. Conduct regular quality checks on food production areas, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and safety practices. Support the training and development of team members in food handling, cooking techniques, customer service, and hospitality best practices. Experience Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen environment, preferably with banquet or catering background. Extensive culinary experience with a strong foundation in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management. Demonstrated knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and health regulations applicable to the food industry. Experience managing inventory control systems and implementing cost-effective food management strategies. Background in fine dining or restaurant management with a focus on quality assurance and customer satisfaction. Familiarity with menu planning tailored to dietary needs and event-specific requirements. Leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively during shift changes while maintaining high morale.
