Benefits Competitive pay Health Insurance Flexible schedule: 10-40 hours per week Training and Development Opportunities for advancement Discounted meals for employee and family members 401(k) plus company match after completion of one year of service in current position Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service to our guests Explain menu and answer product questions Prepare, assemble, and package menu items Unpacking and store incoming inventory deliveries Accept payment from guests and make changes correctly Presents orders to guests, properly package with necessary condiments and utensils Generates additional sales by suggesting other menu items Responsible for verifying register and the beginning of shift Stock adequate supplies of paper goods, condiments beverages Clean, restock, and organize kitchen, dining, and storage areas Informs management when equipment needs service or inventory is needed Adhere to wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided and required Work effectively with co-workers to achieve company standards and expectations Prepping drinks and assisting in prepping items such as sauces, salads, produce, etc Use specific kitchen machinery/equipment such as ice cream dispensers, fryers, warmers, etc. Clean and maintain equipment to company standards and follow safety and sanitation procedures Cleaning duties include clearing tables, sweeping, mopping floors, washing, sanitizing and disinfecting Operate the cash register and is responsible for cash receipts; Follows company guidelines for cash controls Abide by the company policies and directives given by the restaurant management team as needed Responsible for all cash and deposits during your shift Maintain a positive outlook and provide leadership to crew Assist with providing appropriate training for crew members Supports the General Manager, Manager and Assistant Manager in use of all systems and training programs Qualifications / Requirements Must be at least 16 years old Authorization to work in the US Must have reliable transportation to work Current student or high school diploma/GED preferred Neat, clean, and professional appearance and adhering to the uniform policy One year of restaurant or customer service experience (preferred not required) Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays (preferred not required) Candidate must pass a drug screen and complete a background check and MVR check (Subject to periodic and random drug screening and annual background and MVR check) Skills and Physical Demands Possess a friendly and enthusiastic attitude Ability to take initiative and solve problems Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds Ability to walk, stand or sit for extended periods of time Ability to perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Ability to maintain physical condition appropriate to perform assigned duties Effective communicator with co-workers and the restaurant management team Ability to handle guests' concerns and complaints professionally and calmly We invite you to apply and join our team!
