Qualifications Certified Dietary Manager Full Job Description Description:
The Mission at Agua Fria Senior Living is currently seeking a Dining Director. This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of all food and beverage operations within the senior living community. Required to uphold food and sanitary standards of the company and state as well as meet financial expectations.
Essential Functions:
Supervises the preparation and serving of quality meals in accordance with portion control, special diets, scheduled menus and sanitary regulations. Menu and recipe development. Food ordering and inventory. Maintains food cost on a daily basis and is responsible to ensure budgetary compliance. Is knowledgeable in food safety, sanitation and time and temperature requirements as well as an understanding for recipes and portion control. Acts as the facility's representative for any health department or other required inspections. Cook food in a timely manner and present food in its best possible condition. Ensures all kitchen equipment is in working order and kept clean at all times. Hires, trains, disciplines and terminates departmental employees in accordance with company human resource policies. Oversees the scheduling of all food service personnel to maintain compliance with budgetary guidelines. Maintains daily interaction with residents. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Two to three years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Current Certified Dietary Manager Certificate. Experience in Senior Living industry preferred. Participate in the Manager on Duty program. Passionate with strong leadership skills desired, self-directed, and reliable with a great attitude.
