Job Description
Job Summary Under the direction of the Chief Business Officer, plan, organize, direct, and supervise the District's Child Nutrition Services program and districtwide food service operations. Provide leadership and direct supervision to a department of more than 20 employees assigned to multiple school sites and food service operations. Ensure the effective and efficient operation of the District's Child Nutrition Program in compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, policies, and program requirements. Oversee meal planning and production, food safety and sanitation, personnel, training, procurement, inventory, fiscal controls, meal counting and claiming, program records, and other activities necessary to provide high-quality, nutritious meals to students. Serve as the District's primary operational resource regarding federal and state Child Nutrition Program requirements and maintain the program in a state of readiness for audits, Administrative Reviews, inspections, and other regulatory monitoring.
