Job Summary:
Supervise the service and delivery of menu items in assigned restaurant/ bar ensuring a high level of quality and consistency. Adhere to federal, state and local regulations concerning health safety or other compliance requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Practice OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards and comply with all company safety policies and procedures . Train and schedule employees to ensure proper coverage. Monitor performance and recommend corrective action. Alert management of potentially serious issues. Respond in a prompt and professional manner to guest requests and complaints. Make appropriate service recovery gestures according to established guidelines in order to ensure total guest satisfaction. Oversee check/credit policies and procedures. Inspect restaurants daily to ensure high quality food and food presentation and cleanliness. Conduct pre-shift meetings to inform staff of daily events. Review daily specials. Ensure side work duties are complete and tables are set before, during and after operating hours. Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments. May routinely greet guests, and serve food and beverage. Create or revise SOPS as per business needs. Approve timesheets daily. Perform any other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years of age to handle alcoholic beverages. 2 years minimum serving experience. Ability to promote and sell products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems Ability to work independently, prioritize duties to ensure timely completion of job duties. Require active listening, critical thinking, making decisions, time management and training and supervisory skills Must possess basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations and etiquette Ability to work a varied schedule that may include morning, evenings, weekends and/or holidays Possess/obtain valid RBS and Certified Food Handlers Card.
Preferred Qualifications:
F&B Supervisory experience. Bilingual.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch for the duration of shift (eight hours or longer).
