Overview Join our dynamic team as a Restaurant Shift Leader and become the driving force behind delivering exceptional dining experiences! In this energetic role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, motivate and manage staff, ensure top-notch customer service, and uphold food safety standards. Your leadership will inspire a team committed to excellence in a fast-paced, casual dining environment. Duties Lead and supervise restaurant staff during shifts, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality service. Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling processes to maintain safety and quality standards. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling. Control inventory levels, monitor food production, and assist with ordering supplies to minimize waste and optimize costs. Train new team members on food service procedures, customer service expectations, and safety protocols. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and health codes across all areas of the restaurant. Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to enhance guest satisfaction and foster positive relationships. Qualifications Proven experience in food service management, including supervising teams in quick service or fast food restaurants. Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cash handling is essential. Previous experience in hospitality management or restaurant management roles preferred. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training, interviewing, and team development. Ability to manage shift operations efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service. Knowledge of food safety practices, inventory control, budgeting, and food industry regulations.
