What to Expect Our Tesla Manufacturing Fremont site is seeking a motivated and energetic Training Supervisor dedicated to leading a team of training instructors. This team will be responsible for training new hires (technicians) and maintenance technicians across cross-functional teams. The Training Supervisor will collaborate with the Training Manager, Training Content Lead, business stakeholders, and instructional designers to create world-class training programs. These programs will support the transition to renewable energy by conducting Vehicle, Maintenance, and Robotics classes. This role will oversee the Training Instructor team, which directly supports training on various lines in the factory during their shifts. The ideal candidate must be highly driven, organized, and passionate about developing people. You will be expected to challenge and be challenged, to create, and to innovate. This position requires a genuine passion for producing the best vehicles in the world. What You'll Do
Manage and lead training staff. Supervise and develop the training team to ensure effective onboarding and high-quality training delivery
Develop and monitor training schedules. Create, manage, and communicate training schedules to expand reach and enhance audience engagement
Optimize training resources and capacity plan and ensure efficient use of instructors, classrooms, and labs, aligning with organizational goals
Collaborate on curriculum and training development. Work with stakeholders and curriculum developers to design interactive training programs for new hires
Drive data-driven training improvements. Analyze course attendance and feedback to refine training processes and enhance efficiency
Align training with business priorities. Partner with leadership and recruiting to address workforce needs, ensuring training aligns with KPIs
Establish and maintain procedures for training operations, promote continuous improvement, and incorporate diverse learning methods for a superior training experience. Collaborate with training operations leadership and business leadership to excel in value creation What You'll Bring
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels
Proven leadership experience in coaching and guiding teams, fostering growth and capacity expansion
Commitment to servant leadership principles, promoting accountability and a collaborative culture
Proficiency in technology and tools. Skilled in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is a plus
Training expertise and methodologies.
