Required Years of Experience 2 years Job Details Foodshed is looking for a hands-on Kitchen Shift Lead to help keep daily kitchen operations organized, efficient, and running smoothly. This is a working leadership position. The Shift Lead works alongside the team across stations including pizza/tasca, contorni, prep, and dishwashing while helping ensure food quality, production, cleanliness, and service standards are maintained throughout the shift. Responsibilities Work alongside the kitchen team and step into any station as needed. Help organize production and keep service moving efficiently. Make sure stations are stocked, organized, and prepared for service. Provide day-to-day direction to team members based on established procedures. Monitor food quality, portions, presentation, and recipe consistency. Help maintain ticket times and identify areas that need additional support. Ensure food safety, sanitation, labeling, and cleaning procedures are followed. Help newer employees learn stations and kitchen procedures. Ensure opening, closing, and shift responsibilities are completed. Communicate staffing, equipment, production, or performance concerns to management. Qualifications Professional kitchen experience required. Lead cook or shift lead experience preferred. Comfortable working multiple kitchen stations. Reliable, organized, and able to work effectively during busy shifts. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability as needed.

Compensation Details Compensation:
