Position Overview Environmental Dynamics is seeking a dependable and experienced Part-Time / On-Call Swing Shift Supervisor to support our janitorial operations in Santa Rosa and surrounding service areas. This is a hands-on supervisory position responsible for supporting evening janitorial operations, providing employee coverage and direction, conducting quality inspections, responding to customer needs, and helping ensure our facilities are serviced according to company standards and contractual requirements. The ideal candidate is reliable, professional, organized, and comfortable working independently while providing leadership and support to employees in the field. Because this is a part-time/on-call position , work hours may vary based on operational needs, employee absences, customer requirements, and coverage needs. Areas of Responsibility Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Oversee and support daily janitorial operations throughout the Santa Rosa and surrounding service areas. Supervise assigned employees and provide leadership, direction, coaching, and support. Provide hands-on janitorial assistance and coverage when operationally necessary. Travel between assigned customer locations during the shift to provide supervision, inspections, coverage, and operational support. Ensure customer locations are serviced according to company standards, established schedules, and contract requirements. Conduct quality-control inspections and follow up on identified deficiencies. Assist with coordinating employee schedules, shift coverage, and call-offs. Respond to employee absences and other operational issues that may arise during the swing shift. Maintain professional communication with customers and respond appropriately to service concerns. Communicate with company management and office staff regarding customer, staffing, scheduling, and operational issues. Monitor janitorial supplies and equipment and communicate replenishment, repair, or replacement needs. Assist with employee training and reinforce company policies, procedures, and workplace safety requirements. Promptly report accidents, injuries, property damage, customer concerns, employee issues, and other significant incidents. Maintain appropriate confidentiality regarding employee, customer, and company information. Represent Environmental Dynamics professionally and maintain positive working relationships with customers and employees. Qualifications We are looking for candidates who demonstrate: Previous janitorial, custodial, facilities, or similar service experience. Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred. Ability to provide direction to employees professionally and respectfully. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment. Dependability and the ability to respond to changing operational needs. Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality customer service. Ability to maintain confidential employee and company information. Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to work swing-shift/evening hours and provide on-call coverage based on business needs. Ability and willingness to travel between customer locations throughout Santa Rosa and surrounding service areas as required by the position. Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record, as driving between customer locations is an essential function of this position. Ability to meet applicable company vehicle and automobile insurance requirements when operating a company vehicle. Schedule Part-Time / On-Call - Swing Shift Hours and days may vary depending on customer requirements, employee call-offs, vacation coverage, staffing needs, and other operational requirements. This position is intended for candidates who have flexibility to provide evening and on-call supervisory coverage. Compensation $25.00-$29.00 per hour Starting pay within the posted range will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, skills, and demonstrated ability to perform the responsibilities of the position.
