Expect high standards, a small team, close collaboration with the kitchen, and the chance to make meaningful improvements that guests actually feel. You'll be responsible for: Leading, scheduling, and developing the dining room team Managing service flow and standards of quality, consistency, and efficiency Overseeing the guest experience in every detail (pace, hospitality, recovery, follow-through) Onboarding and training new team members Maintenance and daily operational organization Dining team operational accountability Keeping communication seamless between the kitchen and dining room You might be a fit if you: Care deeply (almost obsessively) about delivering an exceptional guest experience Love food, beverage, and hospitality for the right reasons Lead with calm confidence, humility, and a team-first mindset Solve problems quickly and gracefully, especially under pressure Communicate clearly, kindly, and directly Enjoy mentoring and building strong service professionals Have strong wine knowledge and enjoy guiding guests Bring 2-3+ years of experience (fine dining preferred) What we value Warmth without theatrics. Precision without stiffness. Genuine connection and kindness. Team members that support one another, take feedback well, and take pride in getting better service after service. Interview process Our process includes an in-person meeting, followed by an observational stage. Compensation & benefits Birdsong offers competitive compensation, comprehensive health benefits, and paid time off. If you're interested, please apply with a resume and cover letter.
