Job Description

Job Summary Help maintain a memorable and elegant tea room experience. Oversee the opening and closing procedures. Ready and bake scones. Prepare loose-leaf teas and finger sandwiches and petit fours for serving. Clean table ware as needed for health standards Attend table guests as needed. Make sure tables are set to tea room standards. Maintain a welcoming, calm, highly organized atmosphere. Responsibilities Lead and supervise all aspects of tea room operations, including food preparation, beverage service, and customer interaction Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining proper stock. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across the facility Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling procedures and reconciliation at shift end Coordinate with kitchen staff on food production, catering events, and special menu offerings Monitor customer feedback and address concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction Implement operational policies related to food handling, safety protocols, and hospitality management Skills Proven experience in food preparation and cooking. Strong knowledge of POS systems. Excellent leadership skills with experience in supervising teams within a hospitality or restaurant setting Skilled in inventory control, budgeting, and food management practices Background in fine dining or casual dining environments with banquet or catering experience preferred Ability to train staff effectively in food safety standards, customer service excellence, and operational procedure Familiarity with kitchen management, food production processes, and culinary techniques Experience with barista work or coffee service is a plus; knowledge of bar operations beneficial Demonstrated ability to manage shift operations efficiently while maintaining high-quality service standards Join us as a Manager of our lively Tea Room where your leadership will inspire a passionate team committed to delivering exceptional hospitality.
