Job Description

Meteora is a destination for discovery, storytelling, and refined hospitality. We are seeking a Floor Manager to lead the nightly execution of service and help ensure a warm and elevated guest experience aligned with the ambition of our cuisine. This is a hands-on, service-focused leadership role responsible for dining room readiness, service execution, team support, and closing standards. The Floor Manager is expected to maintain a constant presence on the floor—anticipating the needs of guests and staff, protecting the flow and pacing of service, and ensuring that every detail of the dining room is executed with precision and care.
Responsibilities include:
Lead nightly FOH service with precision, warmth, composure, and consistency Ensure the dining room, service stations, and guest-facing spaces are fully prepared before service Conduct pre-service checks and support daily lineup and service assignments Maintain an active presence on the floor, observing service and anticipating needs in real time Direct and support the FOH team throughout service, reinforcing standards, timing, and service choreography Monitor guest experience, pacing, table maintenance, and overall dining room atmosphere Coordinate closely with culinary, beverage, host, and management teams throughout service Resolve guest concerns thoughtfully and discreetly, involving senior management when appropriate Coach team members in the moment and reinforce a culture of professionalism, accountability, and hospitality Oversee nightly closing procedures, ensuring the restaurant is clean, organized, reset, and prepared for the following service Complete nightly manager notes and communicate relevant guest, staff, or operational information to leadership
Qualifications :
2+ years of FOH leadership or senior service experience in a high-end or Michelin-caliber restaurant Strong understanding of elevated hospitality, service choreography, and dining room standards Exceptional attention to detail and situational awareness Confident directing a team while remaining collaborative and composed Strong guest relations and communication skills Ability to identify and solve problems quickly during service Organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a highly detailed environment Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays This role is ideal for a kind, caring, and service-driven leader who thrives on the dining room floor and takes pride in creating an environment where both guests and team members feel genuinely cared for.
