Overview We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Culinary Lead to elevate our food service operations and deliver exceptional dining experiences. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will oversee all aspects of kitchen management, food preparation, and team leadership. Your energetic approach and culinary expertise will drive quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction across our casual dining, catering, and banquet services. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a talented team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and service excellence. Responsibilities Lead daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and presentation in line with company standards. Supervise and train culinary staff, fostering a positive team environment focused on continuous improvement and skill development. Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs. Oversee food safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health regulations and proper handling procedures. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation. Coordinate shift management, including scheduling staff, overseeing service flow, and resolving operational issues promptly. Collaborate with management on budgeting, profit and loss analysis, and menu development to maximize profitability. Ensure high standards of customer service by maintaining a welcoming atmosphere and addressing guest feedback professionally. Implement training programs focused on food production techniques, safety standards, and hospitality best practices. Support catering events, banquets, and special functions with seamless food execution from prep to service. Experience Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation and cooking. Demonstrated supervisory or managerial experience within the food industry, including team management and staff training. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling. Extensive knowledge of food safety management practices and compliance with health regulations. Experience in managing kitchen operations within casual dining or fine dining settings; banquet or catering experience is a plus. Ability to perform basic math calculations related to inventory control, budgeting, and sales reconciliation accurately. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, manage shift operations effectively, and communicate clearly across departments. Previous experience in hospitality management or restaurant management roles is highly desirable.
