Featuring house-baked bagels, classic schmears, and an extensive selection of curated sandwiches, the delicatessen also boasts house-cured and smoked fish and deli meats; authentic Jewish foods like matzo ball soup; and an assortment of freshly baked breads and pastries, including challah, rye breads, babka, and rugelach. Located inside of the Stanley Marketplace, a community hub of 50+ Colorado businesses, a trip to Rosenberg's at the Stanley is sure to be a family-friendly outing. After 3pm, the space turns into Famous Original J's Pizza, offering huge Brooklyn-style pies, slices, and more. We are seeking a talented Shift Lead to join our team in our open kitchen. As a key member of our culinary hospitality team, you will not only be responsible for preparing authentic New York style bagels and pizzas, but you will also be expected to engage with our customers, answer their questions about the food, provide samples, take orders, provide assistance with online orders, and even deliver food to customers when needed. This position requires someone who is skilled in both culinary arts and customer service, with a strong desire to create an exceptional dining experience for our guests. This is a high volume and fast paced position that requires someone who has the right energy to keep up while maintaining the high quality standards of our food. Job Description Responsibilities & Duties:

Customer Engagement

• Greet guests, and handle transactions Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere Actively answer customer questions about the food, ingredients, and cooking techniques, providing detailed and accurate information Offer samples of dishes to customers, showcasing the quality and flavors of our cuisine Assist customers in placing their orders, recommending menu items based on their preferences Culinary Expertise•Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and guidelines, ensuring quality and consistency Follow proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards at all times Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and timely food preparation Assist with inventory management and stock rotation Lead Duties•Inform personnel of any menu or pricing changes, shortages, specials, or other factors that relate to food production or service Maintain and balance the cash drawer, verifying cashier cash transfers, and sending daily reports Ensure that the restaurant meets and exceeds quality and service standards at all times.

Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards in compliance with local health regulations. Respond to guest needs & feedback Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork and collaboration among the staff. Support the leadership of the team and complete tasks as assigned

Qualifications & Skills:

Line cook & hospitality experience Familiarity with professional kitchen equipment and point of sale systems Understanding and practice of good restaurant hygiene Good time-management skills Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Availability for am/pm/weekend shifts
