Your leadership will inspire the kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences for guests, create a welcoming work environment that inspires growth, and a positive work environment that encourages clear and kind communication amongst team members. You will play a key role in maintaining efficient kitchen workflows, managing inventory, and upholding food safety standards in the day-day of the kitchen. Please note kitchen and management experience requirements before applying. You must have or have the ability to attain within 1 month of hiring, a food service managers certification. Responsibilities Assist the Executive Chef with daily kitchen management, including supervising food preparation and ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards Lead and motivate kitchen staff during shifts, fostering a positive team environment focused on collaboration and excellence Manage inventory control and ordering to ensure all ingredients and supplies are stocked appropriately while minimizing waste Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures across all kitchen operations Support menu planning efforts by contributing creative ideas aligned with current culinary trends and guest preferences, and assist executive chef with roll out of new items and menu flips, and special events Supervise dietary department activities when required, ensuring special dietary needs are met with precision and care, including but not limited to top 9 allergens, vegan diet, gluten free diet, etc Qualifications 5+ years of kitchen experience, and 2+ years of management experience with references has a valid managers food safety certification, or ability to attain one within 4 weeks of hiring Strong background in food safety practices, inventory management, and kitchen operations management Experience with menu planning, catering coordination, and shift management in hospitality settings Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities efficiently. Good attitude is a must! Ability to learn is a must! Ability to give and take constructive criticism is a must!
