- $40 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid training Employee discount Qualifications Beverage building Payroll POS systems Full Job Description The Blind Rhino® is a successful, award-winning sports bar located in Milford, CT.
Required:
- Minimum 3+ years experience as a bartender, server & manager in a high volume bar and restaurant atmosphere
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a plus.
- Proficiency in multiple POS platforms (Toast a plus, that's what we use!)
- Must be at least 21 years of age
Basic Responsibilities:
- Leading your team to maintain excellent customer service standards
- Manage & train bar staff, onboarding and ongoing development.
- Help manage payroll and control labor costs
- Beer, wine, liquor, and smallwares purchasing, maintaining weekly purchasing and inventory costs
- Implementing menu changes and daily specials while working with your other managers & the head chef.
Schedule and Flexibility:
- Full time availability required
- Must be able to work nights and weekends
Additional Skills:
- Basic social media skills a plus
- Ability to show initiative and be self motivated is key to working in our system.
- Must be a team player who is open to learning how we operate.
Compensation:
- Discussed upon successful completion of the interview process
